Refund Policy

Applies to charges made on or after October 14, 2026

In short. BankXLSX keeps what you pay. Money goes back only in the three situations in section 2, and only when our records confirm them. The one-time demo lets you convert a real statement before you spend anything, and renewal can be switched off in account settings at any moment.

1. A subscription buys converter time

Plans run monthly or annually and give you the converter with the page allowance listed on the pricing page. You are paying for the billing period, not per page, per statement or per spreadsheet exported, and pages you do not use never become credit or cash. The whole allowance is ready from day one of each period.

Subscribing tells us to switch the converter on immediately. Because you ask for that, any legal withdrawal or cooling-off right that might otherwise cover the purchase ends as soon as the service starts, which you confirm when you buy.

Renewals and failed payments. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. When a new billing period begins, access for that whole period is granted and the payment for it is due. If the charge does not go through, the payment remains due and we retry it. Cancelling after a new period has begun only switches off later renewals; it does not cancel the payment for the period that has already started. Such a renewal charge is not refundable, and your access continues until the end of that paid period. The fee is for access to the service for the period, not for using it, so not having used the service is not a ground for a refund.

2. When BankXLSX refunds

  • Paid twice. Our billing took one period from you two times.
  • A charge you did not make. Someone used your card without permission, you let us know no later than 14 days after the charge, and your account history together with the payment data supports it. We decide on that evidence, not on the report alone, and we may ask you to show that your card issuer has been told as well.
  • The converter fully down. A fault we confirm on our end stopped BankXLSX from working altogether for an unbroken stretch, you reported it during that stretch, and we could not fix it. Slow conversions, one statement that fails to convert, or issues with your own device, browser or files are not covered.

The amount we return is capped at your payment for the affected period, goes back only to the card that paid, and closes the matter completely. A previous refund does not make a later one more likely.

3. When it does not

  • You converted fewer statements than you expected, or none, while the plan was paid.
  • Some extracted rows needed fixing by hand. Every conversion can be checked and corrected before export.
  • The upload was not a bank or card statement, was locked with a password or damaged, or the scan was too faint.
  • The spreadsheet's columns, order or accounting layout differed from the template you wanted.
  • You were looking for a feature or export format that is not on the pricing page.
  • A renewal you meant to switch off, or switched off moments too late, including one collected after declined attempts.
  • You took it for a single purchase, although both the pricing page and checkout say the plan renews, and so do your receipt and account screen.
  • The plan or billing period you picked did not fit.
  • Days left after you cancel. Periods are not pro-rated.
  • A colleague, your bookkeeper or anyone else signed in with your login.

4. How to ask

Send an email to [email protected] from the address on your BankXLSX account within 14 days of the charge. Include the date, the amount and which case in section 2 you rely on. We ignore requests that arrive after day 14 or reach us by some other route. Valid ones are taken oldest first, without a set reply time, and a refusal stays final.

5. Cancelling

Cancel in account settings whenever you want; no email to us is needed. From that point nothing renews, and you can keep converting until the paid period runs out. Cancelling does not reverse a payment already collected and is not a refund request. If you do not want the next period, cancel before the renewal date displayed in your account.

6. Evidence and chargebacks

Your BankXLSX account comes with acceptance of the Terms of Service, which this policy belongs to, and of the Privacy Policy. Per subscription we hold the moment of purchase, the plan and price displayed at checkout, the record of your acceptance, the emails we sent and the account activity history: sign-ins, statements uploaded, conversions run and files exported, each with its technical details. Separately, for each charge the payment operator records the card's home country, where the transaction started and how 3D Secure ended.

An unauthorised-charge claim is tested against that evidence. Opening a chargeback before writing to us breaches the Terms of Service: the evidence goes to your card issuer and the account is closed for good.

7. Earlier subscriptions

Charges dated before October 14, 2026 are handled under the refund terms that were published on their date.
