Shopify pays out by bundling a stretch of orders into one deposit and then dropping it in your bank account a few days later. By the time it lands, the figure has already had Shopify Payments fees, refunds, chargebacks, and shipping adjustments netted out of it, so the deposit on your bank statement rarely matches your sales for the period. The payout report and the finances summary hold the breakdown, but they are built around totals and often reach a bookkeeper as a saved PDF. This converter reads that PDF into one row per line so you can see gross sales, the fee, and the refund separately, tie each Shopify payout to the deposit on your bank statement, and post the numbers to your books without retyping them.
Each line arrives with its gross sale, the Shopify Payments fee, and any refund in their own columns, so you can total fees for the month and post net revenue without manual math.
Each Shopify payout is a batch of orders minus fees. Converted rows let you match that payout against the deposit on your bank statement and the orders behind it.
Charges, fees, refunds, chargebacks, and payouts are preserved line by line, so the export ties out to the totals on your Shopify payout report.
Four steps, no software to install.
In Shopify admin open Finance, then Payouts, pick the payout or date range you need, and save or print the payout report. A Shopify Balance statement or a finances summary works too.
Drop the PDF into the converter at the top of this page. Password-protected files are detected the moment you upload them.
The lines are read into rows. Check the preview and choose the columns you want to keep, such as date, order, gross sales, fee, and refund.
Download a clean .xlsx or .csv file, ready for QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or your own spreadsheet.
Pull a month or a year of Shopify payouts into Excel with fees and refunds separated, so you can see real net revenue and have clean records ready at tax time.
Convert a client's Shopify payout PDFs into import-ready files when you only get the statement, not their store login, and keep fees on their own line.
Convert Shopify reports into structured data for year-end close, sales tax, and reconciliation, with sales, fees, and refunds kept on separate lines.
Convert payout reports from several Shopify stores into the same column layout, so you can roll them up and reconcile each store against its bank deposits.
A Shopify payout report carries more than a list of sales. Orders bring money in, Shopify Payments fees come off, refunds and chargebacks claw money back, and each payout sweeps the net to your bank. If you use Shopify Balance, card spend draws the balance down too. The converter keeps that detail intact so nothing has to be re-entered.
Export to Excel (.xlsx) for analysis or CSV for clean imports. The CSV maps neatly into accounting tools, so you can bring Shopify activity straight into your books. If you keep QuickBooks Desktop, you can take that CSV one step further and turn it into a QBO file with a CSV to QBO converter.
Open Shopify admin, go to Finance then Payouts, choose the payout or date range you want, and save or print it as a PDF. Upload that PDF to the converter at the top of this page. It reads each line into rows and lets you export a clean Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. The whole process takes about a minute per document and needs no software install.
Shopify Payments does not issue an automatic monthly statement. Instead you generate payout reports and a finances summary for any date range under Finance, then Payouts. If you use Shopify Balance, you can also download account statements for that money account. Each of these documents converts here into clean spreadsheet rows you can reconcile and import.
In Shopify admin, open Finance and then Payouts to see every deposit Shopify has sent to your bank. Select a payout or set a date range, then export or print the report. It lists the orders, fees, refunds, and adjustments inside that payout. Save it as a PDF and bring it here to convert it to Excel or CSV.
Shopify can export payout transactions to CSV for a date range, which is great when you have dashboard access. But bookkeepers often receive only a saved or printed payout report, a finances summary, or a Shopify Balance statement as a PDF. Converting the PDF flattens it into one clean row per line with sales, fees, and refunds separated, so you can reconcile and import without asking for the store login.
Shopify is a technology company, not a bank. Shopify Payments processes card sales and pays them to your bank, while Shopify Balance is a money account whose funds are held at Fifth Third Bank, N.A., Member FDIC, through Shopify's partner Stripe, with the card issued by Celtic Bank. The documents carry Shopify branding, and the converter reads whichever report or statement you have while keeping every line accurate.
Each Shopify deposit on your bank statement is a payout that gathers many orders minus fees, refunds, and chargebacks. Convert the payout report here to see every order in that batch in its own row. Total the net column and it equals the deposit, so you can reconcile the bank line to the underlying Shopify orders in seconds rather than guessing what the lump sum covers.
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest while they are processed, and the conversion runs without sharing your data with third parties. You stay in control of the file and the resulting export. Because it works straight from the PDF, you never have to hand over your Shopify login or grant anyone access to your store.
