SaasAnt Transactions Online costs $25 a month for Growth, $50 for Scale and $100 for Automate, or $250, $500 and $1,000 a year, and each of those plans covers one QuickBooks or Xero company. Multi-company Launch plans cost $50, $75 or $150 a month for 3, 10 or 30 companies. Desktop licenses run $125 to $599 a year. Usage is metered in monthly credits, the trial is 30 days with 100 credits, and SaasAnt does not refund. If you mainly need bank statements turned into clean rows, BankXLSX prices by page with no company limit, from $49 a month.
The sticker price is clear. What a month of client work costs is not.
Growth, Scale and Automate each connect a single QuickBooks or Xero company. A second client means a second plan or a Launch tier.
Credits are consumed as transactions sync or export, but the per-transaction cost and rollover rules are not published.
Growth accepts 4,000 rows per upload and the Launch plans 3,000 lines, so a year of activity may need several files.
Bank statement upload and the AI Excel Converter are listed for Growth and up, not for the Launch plans.
SaasAnt states it does not offer refunds, so a wrong plan choice is paid for until renewal.
QuickBooks Desktop users buy a yearly license per computer, priced apart from the Online plans.
If the hard part is reading the statement, not posting it, this is the cheaper fix.
Native PDFs, scans and phone photos from US banks and card issuers, including the running balance column where the statement prints one.
One plan covers every client. Usage is counted in pages, 800 a month on Starter and 1,920 on Plus.
Excel, CSV and JSON on every plan; QBO, QFX, QIF and IIF on Plus for QuickBooks Online, Desktop and Quicken.
Staff and contractors work from one account on every paid plan, with no per-seat charge.
Drop up to 50 statement files at once and download each as its own file.
Nothing connects to QuickBooks or the bank. You review the rows and decide what gets imported.
A quick way to compare SaasAnt and a converter on your own numbers.
Write down how many client companies you handle and how many statement pages arrive in a typical month.
Tip: Count pages, not statements. A busy card statement can run 10 pages.
On SaasAnt the company count picks the plan. On BankXLSX the page count does.
Tip: Check the row limit per file if a client sends a full year at once.
Upload your messiest scan to the converter above and check the rows before you pay for either tool.
Tip: Compare the extracted closing balance with the one printed on the statement.
People who already know they will pay for a tool and want the one that fits their volume.
Ten to fifty QuickBooks files, where per-company pricing adds up quickly.
Catch-up work on a year of statements for clients who never connected a bank feed.
One QuickBooks company, where SaasAnt Growth may be the better buy.

SaasAnt Transactions Online costs $25, $50 or $100 a month on its single-company plans (Growth, Scale and Automate), or $250, $500 and $1,000 a year. Accountants who manage several QuickBooks files pay $50, $75 or $150 a month for 3, 10 or 30 companies. SaasAnt Transactions Desktop is sold as a yearly license from $125 to $599. There is a 30 day trial with 100 credits and no credit card.
Those are the figures on the SaasAnt pricing pages and in the plan data behind the monthly and yearly toggle, read in October 2026. A SaasAnt support article dated February 2026 lists the same Online prices. An older support article from September 2025 showed Launch-3 at $30 a month, so if you see that number in a review, it is out of date.
Every single-company plan connects one QuickBooks Online or Xero company. What changes as you move up is the number of users, the monthly credit allowance, how many rows one file may contain, and how much automation you get.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Companies | Users | Monthly credits | Rows per upload |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | Free for 30 days | None | 1 | 1 | 100 | 50 |
| Growth | $25 | $250 | 1 | 3 | 25,000 | 4,000 |
| Scale | $50 | $500 | 1 | 10 | 50,000 | 5,000 |
| Automate | $100 | $1,000 | 1 | 15 | 100,000 | 10,000 |
The yearly price on each plan is the monthly price times ten, so paying for a year saves two months. Growth adds the AI Excel Converter, one backup, three customization rules and one email, FTP or SFTP automation. Scale raises that to five backups, five rules and five automations and adds phone and screen sharing support. Automate goes to ten of each and includes what SaasAnt calls white-glove onboarding.
The multi-company plans are the ones bookkeepers and CPA firms usually end up on, because a single-company plan covers exactly one client file. Credits on these plans are pooled across the companies.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Companies | Users | Pooled monthly credits | Lines per file |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Launch-3 | $50 | $500 | 3 | 3 | 15,000 | 3,000 |
| Launch-10 | $75 | $750 | 10 | 3 | 50,000 | 3,000 |
| Launch-30 | $150 | $1,499 | 30 | 10 | 150,000 | 3,000 |
| Enterprise | Quoted | Quoted | More than 30 | 20 | 150,000 and up | 3,000 |
One detail matters if bank statements are the reason you are pricing SaasAnt. The February 2026 support article lists receipt and bank statement upload and the AI Excel Converter under Growth, Scale and Automate, and does not list them under the Launch plans. The Launch plans do include batch transactions, batch edit, customization rules and phone support. Ask SaasAnt to confirm statement upload on the Launch plan you are considering before you subscribe.
The QuickBooks Desktop edition is a yearly license tied to computers rather than users.
| Plan | Price | Computers | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $125 a year | 1 | Import, export, modify, delete, PDF to Excel |
| Professional | $199 a year | 1 | Adds backup and automation |
| Migration | $299 a year | 1 | Adds QuickBooks Desktop to Online and Desktop to Desktop migration |
| Server Professional | $299 a year | 5 | Import, export, modify, delete, PDF to Excel, automation |
| Server Enterprise | $599 a year | 10 | Everything above plus backup |
SaasAnt meters usage in monthly credits that are consumed as you sync or export transactions, according to the FAQ on its pricing page. Neither the pricing page nor the support article states the exact credit cost of one transaction, whether unused credits roll over, or what happens mid-month when a plan runs out, so ask before you size a plan around a busy month. The row limit per upload is the other ceiling: on Growth a single file can hold 4,000 rows, on the Launch plans 3,000 lines.
SaasAnt also says plainly that it does not offer refunds and points to the trial instead. That makes the trial the moment to test your hardest file, not your cleanest one.
SaasAnt Transactions is a bulk import, export, edit and delete layer for QuickBooks and Xero. Its strength is writing large batches of invoices, bills, journal entries and bank transactions straight into the ledger, with mapping rules and scheduled automations. If your bottleneck is posting a spreadsheet of 2,000 invoices into QuickBooks Online, it does that job well and BankXLSX does not try to.
Bank statements are a different problem. Before anything can be imported, someone has to get clean rows out of a PDF: the right dates, signed amounts, and no lost lines where a description wraps or a page breaks. That is the only thing BankXLSX does. It reads native PDFs, scans and phone photos, keeps the running balance column where the statement prints one, and gives you Excel, CSV, QBO, QFX, QIF or IIF files. Many firms use both kinds of tool: a converter for the statement, and an import layer or the bank feed for the ledger.
| SaasAnt Transactions Online | BankXLSX | |
|---|---|---|
| Main job | Bulk import, export, edit and delete in QuickBooks and Xero | Convert PDF and scanned bank statements to structured files |
| Entry price | $25 a month, Growth | $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly, Starter |
| How usage is counted | Credits per synced or exported transaction | Pages per month: 800 on Starter, 1,920 on Plus |
| Companies | One per single-company plan; 3, 10 or 30 on Launch plans | No company or client limit |
| Users | 3 to 15 by plan | Unlimited users on paid plans |
| Writes directly into QuickBooks | Yes, through the QuickBooks and Xero APIs | No. Downloads a QBO file for bank feed review, or CSV |
| Statement outputs | Imported transactions | Excel, CSV, JSON, and QBO, QFX, QIF and IIF on Plus |
| Quicken and QuickBooks Desktop files | Desktop edition sold separately | QFX, QIF and IIF from the same upload on Plus |
| Scanned statements | AI Excel Converter on Growth and up | Yes, OCR on every plan |
| Trial | 30 days, 100 credits, 50 rows per import, no refunds after | One-time 15 page demo, no credit card |
| Best for | Pushing large batches of entries into a ledger | Getting accurate rows out of statements for any client |
Where SaasAnt clearly wins: direct posting into QuickBooks Online and Xero, invoices and bills as well as bank lines, and the lower entry price for one company. Where BankXLSX wins: a firm with many clients pays one plan instead of a per-company tier, scanned and messy statements are the core of the product rather than an add-on, and Quicken or QuickBooks Desktop users get QFX, QIF or IIF without a second license.
Take a bookkeeper with 25 small business clients, each sending one checking and one credit card statement a month, about 4 pages each. That is roughly 200 pages and perhaps 3,000 transactions a month.
For a single business with one QuickBooks file and a few statements a month, SaasAnt Growth at $25 is cheaper, and it posts the transactions for you. The math flips as the number of client companies grows, because SaasAnt prices by company and BankXLSX prices by page.
For the full field of converters and their tiers, see bank statement converter pricing compared. If you are weighing SaasAnt against other tools rather than checking its price, the SaasAnt alternative comparison goes through features, and the Transaction Pro Importer alternative article covers the other well known QuickBooks import layer. To get statements into QuickBooks without an import layer at all, the QuickBooks bank statement converter page walks through the QBO file route.
SaasAnt Transactions Online costs $25 a month on Growth, $50 on Scale and $100 on Automate, or $250, $500 and $1,000 a year. Multi-company Launch plans are $50, $75 and $150 a month for 3, 10 and 30 companies. Desktop licenses are $125 to $599 a year. Prices were read from SaasAnt in October 2026.
Yes. SaasAnt Transactions Online has a 30 day trial with access to the features, 100 credits and a limit of 50 lines per import or delete. No credit card is needed to start. SaasAnt says it does not offer refunds after you subscribe, so test your most difficult file during the trial.
Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance, 25,000 on Growth up to 100,000 on Automate, and credits are consumed as you sync or export transactions. SaasAnt does not publish the exact credits per transaction or whether unused credits roll over, so confirm both with its support before choosing a tier.
The Launch plans are built for that: Launch-3 at $50 a month or $500 a year for 3 companies, Launch-10 at $75 or $750 for 10, and Launch-30 at $150 or $1,499 for 30, each with pooled credits. More than 30 companies is an Enterprise quote.
SaasAnt Transactions Desktop is sold per year: Starter $125, Professional $199 and Migration $299 for one computer, Server Professional $299 for five computers and Server Enterprise $599 for ten. All include import, export, modify, delete and PDF to Excel.
Yes, on Growth, Scale and Automate. SaasAnt lists bank statement upload and an AI Excel Converter on those plans, with document credits included in the subscription. The Launch plans do not list them in the February 2026 support article. BankXLSX converts statements on every plan, including scans.
For one company, often yes: Growth is $25 a month and also posts to QuickBooks. For a firm with many clients it usually is not, because SaasAnt prices by company. BankXLSX Starter is $49 a month, or $24 billed yearly, for 800 pages with no company limit.
If the job is getting transactions out of PDF statements, a dedicated converter fits better. BankXLSX reads PDFs, scans and photos and downloads Excel, CSV, QBO, QFX, QIF or IIF, so the file goes into QuickBooks Online, Desktop or Quicken through their own import screens.
